Susan Giacona recently joined the 430 Entertainment Group as a partner / producer, while also overseeing investor relations and public relations. Susan brings her corporate business expertise (CBS, Compaq, Hewlett-Packard), her entrepreneurial drive, and her creative background in the music business as an award-winning singer/songwriter (Texas Country Music Association Single of the Year 2017, Producers Choice Awards, Female Vocalist of the Year 2018); her experience ranges from marketing and communications for Fortune 500 Corporations, to song placements in film / advertising projects, to short-film production. One of Susan’s latest projects is a music video / short film (co-produced) for The Battleship Texas Foundation. The music video / short-film is based on the song “Walkin’ Away From Heaven”, written and performed by Susan. The film is Susan’s “brainchild”, and was produced with goals of increasing tourism to The Battleship Texas, increasing public awareness of the need to dry-dock the ship, and ultimately to raise necessary funds to maintain the integrity of a majestic, historic, veterans’ memorial and tourist attraction. The film helped to usher in the $35 million necessary for The Battleship Texas restorations and dry-dock project, after only being released for less than a year. Susan, along with her partner at 430 Entertainment, Mark Stocker, and their production associate, Travis Cloyd of Observe Media, have recently been asked to serve as ambassadors representing the Tennessee Film Commission. Susan is also an active member on the Board of Directors for Wheelchairs for Warriors, an organization which provides electronic, state-of-the-art, titanium wheelchairs for veterans.
